Angela Rush called meeting to order. A brief explanation of what an association is followed.
The association voted that the boundaries for the association would be the existing subdivision and would be described in the association bylaws.
It was agreed that the association would be called "The Sandybrook Neighborhood Association."
Officers were elected: Gail Vondrasek - President, Sue Ireland - Vice President, Jennifer Black - Secretary, Donna Mann - Treasurer
It was agreed that the new officers would meet and discuss the bylaws at a later date.
Tim Hess will be responsible for building web site, Jennifer Black will set up Association email and Walter Changcheng will set up Yahoo group page for committee information.
General business included the discussion of North and South zoning issues. Tim Hess will talk to Jesse Torres to get information needed regarding a petition for these issues. National night is 8/5/03 it was tabled as to whether or not Sandybrook Neighborhood Association would participate due to the short turn around time. Angela informed us of various neighborhood awards: Clean-up award, Spirit Award and the Community Collaboration Award. She recommended we consider becoming a part of the Fort Worth League of Neighborhood Association. A newsletter comes out every 2 months and we need to contact Benanne Tomaco to become a member.
No outlet sign bone of contention with some residents. City to be contacted.
Call for volunteers for block captains. Had some volunteers.
The next meeting was scheduled for August 21, 2003 location TBD.
