SANDYBROOK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

MEETING MINUTES THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2003

Gale Vondrasek called the meeting to order at 7:08p.m. A forum was called.

Minutes from last months meeting and this months meeting will be approved at the next meeting.

The Treasury Report was gone over. Due to a donation of last months 50/50 split by Gale Vondrasek the treasury holds $37.00. The forum approved the report.

Dawn Hebert was voted in as the new Secretary of the association.

Review of the bylaws began.

The remainder of the bylaws were tabled until the next meeting.

A call for Block Captains for the following areas was made: Fallbrook Court East, Elderwood, Misty Glen, and Sandstone.

Tim Hess went over the crime report. He was questioned on whether it was possible to obtain statistics comparing the number of calls to the police to actual crimes committed. It was suggested that the neighborhood has a slow response of police to calls. It was suggested to residents who have concerns about this issue to get in touch with City Council member Becky Haskins or NPO Brad Hickey. Tim Hess stated that he would check on this.

The Sandybrook Neighborhood Association has been invited to join the Fort Worth League of Neighborhood Associations.

Roger Kromer won the 50/50 split and donated $8.50 to the coffer.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
